Leadership
In my senior year, by holding two editor positions, I portrayed different leadership abilities, such as editing, contest creation, and more.

Editing
As a managing editor, it is my responsibility to individually proof the entirety of each issue, by splitting up different pages and spreads with my fellow MICE, and frequently applying edits into InDesign for the final version of the issue. Through proofing I discover issues in copy, design, photo, and attribution, critiquing my staffers to that our issues can be the best quality possible.

Creating fun games and activities
As Morale editor, I have created many activities for the staff to do in order to bond and raise morale. Amongst my favorite have been "fun Friday" activities. In these activities, I have had the staff play games such as Jeopardy!, two truth's and a lie, and more. I think having fun activities in between the hard work of a yearbook production year can raise morale and spirits on a busy staff.

Organizing Staff Information
As morale editor, I have the responsibility of being in charge of staff birthdays. I created a google sheet with each staffers birthday, as well as food allergies, and organized them each a birthday bag which is given out to them on their birthday. I think this reinforces support and a tight-knight, family environment in a publication.

Creating Staff Materials
As web managing editor, I was in charge of creating staff materials such as pre-drafts for all website articles. I created these so that planning was prioritized throughout the process of content creation, and articles were well thought out. I also made sure that they were being checked and approved by staffers editors. One major part of the pre-draft that was important to me was also plans multimedia and interactive element incorporation, as that draws traffic and attention to the site, as well as looks better for SNO distinction.

Organizing Staff Events
During my tenure as morale editor, I helped organize staff events by creating supply lists for parts of the publication such as the birthday supplies, the staff gift, and feedback boxes in the back of class. I enjoy searching through websites like Amazon to find good supplies that will help uplift the staff, but I think I could be more responsive and quick with lists.
